Internal note section for each chat

Instead of typing internal messages within the same chat display, can there be a separate box for notes or descriptions of the specific chat / client?
This way it can lower the risk of typing something wrong by accident and sent to the client. Also more importantly, all the notes are categorised in 1 location rather than the need to to scroll up and down to find it

I think you can keep the current notes function but call it internal team chat rather than notes. Then actually create a separate notes function under the client's info on the right where the team can type updated info such as - this clients is allergic to peanut for example and that is dated and editable.
